Ben Dickinson
3VRM Founder and Director
Ben has almost 20 years’ experience in risk management, assurance and advisory work, mainly in financial services.
As a Managing Director at Barclays and part of the Global Sourcing leadership team, Ben designed and led the firm’s Supplier Risk Management and Assurance capability, interacting with regulators and peer organisations to develop standards and approaches across various risk topics impacting Third Parties, including: Cyber, Security, Information Management, Resilience, Conduct, Regulatory Compliance, PCI-DSS, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption.
Prior to Barclays, Ben trained as an accountant at Deloitte before focussing on Project Risk Management and Outsourcing Assurance.

Peter Hawkins
Third Party Risk Management Consultant
Pete has 17 years’ experience managing people, projects and change in global and smaller organisations across a variety of industries.
Pete’s career started as an officer in the Armed Forces. Since then, he has worked in global procurement and risk functions as an industry practitioner and before joining 3VRM, worked for a large consultancy helping numerous FTSE100 clients.
Pete’s experience covers all aspects of third party risk management, notably, capability assessments, risk frameworks, policy, operating model, risk assessment and risk management tools.

Alex Kitney
Procurement & Supplier Management
Alex has 11 years’ experience in risk management, assurance, change and programme management, primarily within the financial services sector.
His experience includes, supporting clients assessing and enhancing existing frameworks, the design and implementation of global supplier risk and supplier management systems and leading the design and re-organisation of a global procurement function.

David Beardshaw
Cyber, Security & Security Programmes
David has 15 years’ experience as a management consultant, focussed on creating cyber security strategies, defining operating models and leading cyber transformation programmes, mainly in financial services.
Originally from a Big Four cyber consultancy background, David has led the cyber security programmes for Barclays and Virgin Money, as well as advising a variety of other FTSE 100 organisations to help establish security direction and turn around programmes failing to deliver the expected value.
David has led cyber security programmes across the security spectrum, working with major security vendors, covering the following topics: Security Operations Centres, Identity & Access Management, Privacy and Data Leakage Protection, Vulnerability Management, Email Security, DDoS and Network Resilience, Supply Chain Cyber Risk, and Endpoint Security
